What is it good for: Clearing and refreshing, used in oil burners as a room antiseptic. Often used in aftershave. Purifying and a tonic, so it is excellent for congested or oily skin. It can be helpful for skin conditions such as acne, dermatitis and psoriasis. It can help eliminate infection and inflammation. It is known to treat urinary tract infections. It can reduce water retention as a diuretic it helps to dispel toxins, making it useful for gout and arthritis.
Extraction Method: Steam distilled
Blends with: Lavender, Clary Sage, Petitgrain, Geranium and Frankincense.
Suggested Usage: It is best to dilute essential oil in carrier oil such as Grapeseed if you intend to prepare massage oil. Don't use essential oils neat onto your skin. Start with 1% essential oil to 99% carrier and increase essential oil until you have desired aroma strength.
Possible side effects: It stimulates menstruation so should be kept away from pregnant women. Essential oils should never be used on pregnant women.
Bottle: These bottles are designed for pharmaceutical use, they are impact resistant but care should be taken with glass bottles on hard surfaces. The bottles are designed in Austria, using green natural glass, they are not sprayed and can be recycled over and over again.
